Article describes just music genres?
[edit ]This article starts with saying that it's a niche classification within various art forms, such as music, literature, film, and art. But beyond the first sentence, whole article just belong to music genres. I guess it's worth rename article to Music microgenre, or stay with this title and create sub-categories for music parts (=whole article). Solidest (talk) 15:01, 13 February 2021 (UTC) [reply ]
- think it's OK as is, unless someone interested in expanding on use of term in other disciplines, keep current title and focus on music usage. Stuff about term origins could be presented in re-titled subsection, dealing with etymological aspects or whatever. Acousmana (talk) 20:25, 14 February 2021 (UTC) [reply ]
- I definitely think there should at least be examples of microgenres in other forms. In fiction, things like Ergodic Literature or something niche like second-chance romance come to mind. Harmarsh16 (talk) 02:27, 24 December 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
