they want to shape their future on their own terms...a few problems with that

1. it sounds like it was taken from the recent episode of tribe

2. this is an encyclopedia,, and that doesn't really count as fact. maybe it's better to talk about disputes between the cultures and problems integrating with the 'western' world

1) Yes, it was taken directly from Tribe (BBC), hence the external link quote mentioned is used as a whole-article reference
2) The article is still very much in infancy, as I wanted to extract information which I thought would be good enough for the foundation of the article. I was simply taking random areas of the BBC article and rewording it so as to not cause problems with copyright infringement. If you wish to amend it, by all means do so - (that is what it's all about)!

not sure what this means. Feel free to return it once clarified. It was in the part where they were talking about people dying from lack of medical care: "of Brazilian government that did not have even a backboard engine working to bring people to receive medical care (ARISI 2007)."
