This topic seems to not warrant a unique encyclopedia article, but fits into Cisco Systems DDerby 04:17, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I didn't think it would fit into the base Cisco page. This acquisitions page could and should be lengthened into 3 or 4 times the size with added details about the date, acquistion price, business, leaders, etc. of each of these companies. The Cisco page as is could also be lengthened in other ways with further discussions about their products, IOS, customers, leaders, etc. Put together, it will probably get too long. Fair enough; cancelling merge DDerby 06:28, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)

If necessary, add {{cbignore }} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots |deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. The acquisition date for OpenDNS is incorrect. The article lists the date Cisco announced the intent to acquire OpenDNS. The actual acquisition did not occur until August 27, 2015 [1] .108.29.208.140 (talk) 20:04, 10 May 2016 (UTC) Reply

Many of the links to acquired companies redirect back to this page. Should these links be removed since they don't accomplish anything? --Flashcube (talk) 04:15, 9 May 2022 (UTC) Reply
