Note about Colts record

@DoctorHver: Would you please let me know why you feel that it's important to add a note about the Colts record per this edit, which you then re-added after you were reverted per this edit, when it's already clear from the last column of the table? Records by Franchise section

It seems to me (similar to the NFC and AFC Championship pages) that when this table is sorted it would be first by most wins but then if there is a tie, fewest loses? This is a picking of nits but for instance NE and PITT both have 6 wins but PITT only has two losses. Is that sensical to think it could be sorted that way? Thank you for your time. ~2026-96717-9 (talk) 07:50, 13 February 2026 (UTC) Reply

The table is sortable, you just need to click on the arrows at the top of the columns. Assadzadeh (talk) 15:26, 13 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
Thanks for the reply and yeah I see it is sortable I just don't understand the sort I guess. Why would the Patriots sort about the Steelers for instance when they both have 6 SB wins but the Steelers have only lost it twice. Does that make sense? ~2026-96717-9 (talk) 07:29, 19 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
As noted above the table "In the sortable table below, franchises are ordered first by number of wins, followed by the total number of appearances, and finally by the total number of points scored by the franchise throughout all appearances" which is why the Patriots are listed higher than the Steelers. If I understand correctly, you would prefer to have franchises ordered first by number of wins, then by winning percentage. However, this is just one option and I don't believe there is a guideline for how franchises should be listed in championship tables. As such, it was just a matter of choice when the table was first setup. Assadzadeh (talk) 08:11, 19 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
I just think it would be cool to see a table that is similar to say the NFC Championships list by appearances. At the top of the table it can be sorted so that for instance Dallas is 8 and 6 in the game and then San Franciso is 8 and 11.
That seems like the way you would sort to me. Just like if you are looking at Standings for any sports teams, it's not just the amount of wins but the loses factor in as well.
Anyway, thank you very much for the content either way. I enjoy being able to look at it!! ~2026-96717-9 (talk) 17:25, 19 February 2026 (UTC) Reply

In the "Upcoming Games" section, can you add that Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada will host Super Bowls LXIII in 2029? They just announced it today. Please. ~2026-19696-70 (talk) 22:41, 30 March 2026 (UTC) Reply

Looks like it has been added. -- Zoo Blazer 23:12, 30 March 2026 (UTC) Reply

Can somebody please remove the 2026 World Cup notes? We have to use the names of stadiums during NFL seasons, not during the World Cup. Again, can somebody please remove the World Cup notes? Please. ~2026-36776-23 (talk) 11:40, 25 June 2026 (UTC) Reply

Pinging @Dale Arnett, who made the changes to chime in first. meamemg (talk) 17:37, 25 June 2026 (UTC) Reply
Not objecting to this, but why shouldn't World Cup names be included? Those have been used during the stadium's existence, even if they weren't used for NFL games. — Dale Arnett (talk) 21:46, 25 June 2026 (UTC) Reply
I don't have a strong feeling, just came here from my edit request patroling. But it seems unnecessarily trivial for this table. It's not the name it has now (or won't be in a month), the name it had at the time of the SB, nor a name anyone is likely to think of it as. It's just a random fact about the stadium. (To be fair, I'd probably delete most of the footnotes to the table, if I was looking at it particuarly closely). meamemg (talk) 21:53, 25 June 2026 (UTC) Reply
Done. I reverted the edit. There were some other minor formatting changes in there, which I certainly have no objection to, but I'm not going to waste time disentangling them. Deacon Vorbis (carbon videos) 18:36, 27 June 2026 (UTC) Reply
