Bits and pieces removed from article in copy edit
[edit ]I have attempted to copyedit and re-write some of the prose sections of this article. I have removed the following, that doesn't seem to fit, or need to be here.
- Specific details of degrees that mean nothing to a wider audience, and are largely unnecessary.
- External links to firm partners: "among them George K. Taylor, John H. Boody, Herman Greunke, Norman Ryan".
- I don't know what the rules are about external links of this type, but they could be deemed unnecessary and advertisement.
It is seldom necessary to include external links to anyone who doesn't have a Wikipedia article. If it is for specific people, unless they are notable enough for an article to be created, the reference in the text is probably trivial information that doesn't need to be included.
I hope these contributions prove useful to creating a good article. May I suggest that the contributions to organ building is re-written as prose style, rather than a list?
