Naming
[edit ]If Javan Langur is put into Google there are 11600 results but Javan Lutung gives 148. So maybe the better article title would have been Javan Langur? That's why I've captioned my picture as a Javan Langur - Adrian Pingstone 08:49, 14 April 2006 (UTC) [reply ]
- All mammals now have an official common name, via the newly published Mammal Species of the World. You naming is correct as well, as nearly all of the lutungs (as far as I can tell) have multiple names. I believe the concise listing of names for this one is as follows: Javan Lutung, Javan Langur, Javan Leaf Monkey, Ebony Lutung, Ebony Langur, Ebony Leaf Monkey. - UtherSRG (talk) 14:22, 14 April 2006 (UTC) [reply ]
