Cleanup
[edit ]If someone has a chance, essentially having the time available, please cleanup the article's format (wikify) and tense use of English. (I posted a Wikify template on the article but it was quickly deleted by a user running an automated tool to collect (persondata) - probably on a batch basis, since the automated tool seems to be designed for multiple instances of data collection.) It actually seems that this person may have been more important than the article portends and may be worthy of further research and writing... Stevenmitchell (talk) 20:48, 15 June 2012 (UTC) [reply ]
NBC Radio City at Sunset and Vine
[edit ]After NBC moved its west coast operations to Burbank in the early 1960s, Ahmanson bought the vacated NBC Radio City complex from them which was located at Sunset and Vine in Hollywood. He completely demolished it in order to build a Home Savings on that corner. I wish Ahmanson had demonstrated a little more of his legendary philanthropy at the time and preserved that great art deco temple of American broadcasting history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.206.87.210 (talk) 21:22, 21 February 2021 (UTC) [reply ]
