Heisei period (1989–2019)
[edit ]The second paragraph in the § Heisei period (1989–2019) section on Japan's relations with China and Korea seems excessively long and inappropriate as a descriptive summary of the Heisei period, especially considering that the paragraph on the 3/11 earthquake is only two sentences long. The paragraph seems to be a manifestation of Wikipedia's systemic bias, in which editors add information of their own interest without considering its proportion to other parts of the article. 2602:FC24:13:1:E4F7:.&checktime(9065,0,1,':') (talk) 16:03, 23 July 2023 (UTC) [reply ]
- I have at least partially addressed these issues by toning down non-NPOV language and slightly expanding the 3/11 section -- Ash-Gaar (talk) 07:18, 8 July 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
Muromachi period
[edit ]There are two paragraphs on Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu in the Muromachi period section that seem out of place as they discussed people and events of the Azuchi–Momoyama period. They also duplicate the content of that period in relation to the two individuals. I would suggest they be deleted. Nengoro (talk) 18:19, 17 July 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
Reiwa period (2019-present)
[edit ]The values in the last paragraph of Reiwa period seem to be wrong. The paragraph states that Japan aims to increase its defence spending to 2% of GDP, which is calculated as 43円 trillion (315ドル billion). This amount is, according to the sources, the total sum that the Japanese government intends to invest during a five-year period (2023-2027), not a yearly defence expenditure. In my opinion, the wording is misleading. Jogurtik123 (talk) 21:48, 16 January 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
