If any readers were wondering, the picture of the Golden Nugget in the top right hand corner was taken in May of 2000. So it may look different by now and it may have looked different 30 years ago, and it may look different in other months of the year. JayKeaton 17:07, 2 September 2007 (UTC) Reply

I know that the Golden Nugget promotes their consecutive 4 diamond rating (since 1977), but on the ww.mobiltravelguide.com for 2008 it is listed as having 3 stars.Pacomartin (talk) 07:15, 13 March 2009 (UTC) Reply

Also "Revenge of the Caveman" has left the Golden Nugget Showroom and been replaced by "Downtown Gordie Brown".Pacomartin (talk) 07:15, 13 March 2009 (UTC) Reply

1905?

When the Nugget opened on Fremont and 2nd Street in 1946, it had prominent signage saying "1905." see http://www.westvegas.com/vegas_photos/UP_1946_GOLDEN_NUGGET.jpg

"The 1905 on the sign led many to believe that the Golden Nugget had been part of the original development of Fremont Street but that was a myth." Classic Las Vegas

So far as I can tell, the 1905 refers to the year Las Vegas started development, though why they put this year on a 1946 building is beyond me. Some are still confused by it:

"In the heart of downtown Las Vegas (since 1905), the Golden Nugget has been through many owners and many changes." Vegas Today and Tomorrow

Since this misinformation is still being spread, it would be good to research this and incorporate it in the article Bustter (talk) 09:47, 7 July 2010 (UTC) Reply

There is a sentence which says "... the chart below..." What chart? I'm not seeing it. Whoever is now working on this may want to give it some revisions and make it more meaningful. Thanks Zul32 (talk) 16:52, 3 January 2014 (UTC) Reply
