I added an update about the ability to use Godot on Meta Quest devices without the use of a computer - could someone tell me if there was a better place I could have put it on the page? PixelatedStov493 (talk) 02:28, 12 March 2025 (UTC) Reply
Much to @~2026-69981-5's frustration, there does not seem to be any documentation, release notes, or any easy to find sources for all human languages the Godot editor supports. Specifically, one that backs up the claim that Godot has Toki Pona support. The closest to a source that I could find is GitHub discussion, and a Git commit on Godot's official GitHub repository. Is there a better and comprehensive source that can be cited for the available languages section of the infobox? IHeartVideoGames (talk) 03:02, 1 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
- it is in the actual engine though ~2026-69981-5 (talk) 03:03, 1 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
- I believe you, but I believe you still need a source in order for the Wiki article change to be allowed. IHeartVideoGames (talk) 03:09, 1 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
- There's also this translation plugin but that does not necessarily mean Toki Pona is native to the engine. –Skywatcher68 (talk) 03:13, 1 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
- Its frustrating all around.
- I think Godot listing available languages for the engine would be helpful to everyone. IHeartVideoGames (talk) 03:14, 1 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
- The Weblate platform is used for managing the translations, but there are many more in-progress ones there that aren't actually available in the engine currently (110+ currently including some very obscure and esoteric ones sitting at <5% translation), and I'm not sure there's a clear cut-off for when a language is officially considered for inclusion. - I guess the question is now "what should count as a usable translation?" Though, this is entering forum territory. IHeartVideoGames (talk) 03:33, 1 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
- i think what broski means was if you download the engine nd then go to settings and language and scroll down you can see it but toki pona abbreviation is tok and godot puts toki pona as tok i confirmed. i might post footage tho ~2026-71426-1 (talk) 02:07, 4 February 2026 (UTC) Reply
