I've edited this down again for NPOV; please see my comments at User talk:Global Witness for why, and how to expand the article according to the Wikipedia Neutral Point of View policy. -- The Anome 16:25, 21 May 2006 (UTC) Reply

This section reads like it's lifted from Global Witness' website. It needs to be re-written from a more neutral perspective in keeping with Wikipedia's voice. Cerowyn (talk) 19:50, 28 September 2008 (UTC) Reply

Yes, basically it is written entirely for their POV, which is not what is supposed to happen... Babakathy (talk) 11:49, 16 December 2008 (UTC) Reply

I've added some more external links and other references, also updated it. I think it's better now. (The ames (talk) 08:10, 29 September 2010 (UTC)).Reply

Basic Geography?

I'm not the only one who reads this and wonders where they operate:

Evidently, their offices are in London (etc.) but the article primarily discusses their Cambodian publications, and mentions Africa rather vaguely.

They must have a finite list of countries or regions they operate in and/or publish on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.147.15.205 (talk) 17:23, 9 May 2009 (UTC) Reply

I have added a list of countries that they work on. They don't have offices in places other than the US and UK. They used to have someone in Cambodia but they got kicked out... (The ames (talk) 08:09, 29 September 2010 (UTC)).Reply

Attempted cleanup

I've attempted cleanup of this article by rewriting the language for neutrality, and removing some unsourced claims as well as claims only to press releases or the organization's own website. Please remember that Wikipedia requires most claims to be sourced to reliable secondary sources.

I've consequently removed the advert and POV tags, but if any editors still see issues, I'm fine with these being restored. If the POV tag goes back on, though, please remember that it's also necessary to add a talk page explanation (per Template:POV) and work toward resolution of the issue. Thanks all! -- Khazar2 (talk) 15:55, 4 December 2012 (UTC) Reply
