Bundeswehr War Crimes

Shouldn’t we add a section about West German War Crimes.

  • The Bundeswehr was originally proposed by a literal war criminal.
  • The parties of the First Adenauer cabinet were all descendants of parties that signed the Enabling Act of 1933 thus are Nazi collaborators.
  • Konrad Adenauer himself collaborated with the Nazis, ended Denazification, pushed the Myth of the clean Wehrmacht, and appointed numerous Nazis to his postwar government.
  • Neo-Nazism was rampant in West Germany while virtually nonexistent in East Germany.
  • The Bundeswehr and West Germany itself was founded on the Myth of the clean Wehrmacht.
  • The Bundeswehr became very active after the Cold War thus numerous opportunities to commit war crimes.

Needed article: German atrocities committed against prisoners of war during World War II

We have Soviet atrocities committed against prisoners of war during World War II. We also have articles on German atrocities committed against Soviet prisoners of war (soon to be FA) and German atrocities committed against Polish prisoners of war. To this we can add crimes against POWs on the Western front listed here: German_war_crimes#World_War_II. I'll see about writing such an article in the future if nobody beats me to it. Allied war crimes during World War II exists but we also need allied war crimes during World War I like the illegal naval blockade which killed 1 million german civilians. 185.2.142.115 (talk) 12:08, 6 February 2025 (UTC) Reply

State of this article

The article seems very odd to me, its just a list of war crimes done by Germany, some which don't even have articles and such (if they do exist on other wikis, use ill links yall), i suggest doing to this article like its being done to Allied war crimes during World War II, as in make this less of a list and more of an overall article, linking specific articles for further reading and focusing less on specific massacres.

I would also suggest maybe separating the parts about WW1 and Nama genocide into another article, and keep this one strictly for WW2 war crimes, don't know about the overall opinion on this though.
