Incorrect engine specification for Ducato 2022 update

In spite of several public sources getting it wrong, the 2.2L engine in Ducato from 2022- is not the same as the PSA DW12 2.2L. It is actually the Serra-Pratola Family B engine made by Fiat themselves. Wikipedia's own page on this engine correctly lists Ducato as one of the applications. wrong capacity for fist generation

"The Citroën C25 was a 2.5 tonne capacity van (hence the name C25)" --> that's wrong, also for the Citroen C22 and 25 the capacity was 1,0/1,3 tonnes. I only have a german language reference that showes that, but I think it's clear that without strong changes in car construction it is impossible to level up the capacity in such a dimension, anyway the total weight of the car would have been more than 3,5 tonnes. P.S. The name "C25" does not indicate a capacity of 2,5 tonnes, other examples: Citroën C15 with less than 1 tonne capacity.Max schwalbe (talk) 12:44, 7 September 2025 (UTC) Reply
