"existentiell is used to describe an ontic understanding of beings in the world. Since the "Understanding of Being is itself a definite characteristic of Dasein's Being " it relates and comports to its being : existence.This understanding can be ontical or ontological. "The understanding of oneself which leads along this way we call "existentiell". Whereas the ontological analysis of existence's structure is "not existentiell, but rather existential"(33).If " any entity is either a "who" (existence) or a "what" (presence-at-hand in the broadest sense).(71): then existentiell is not an ontic decription of "of beings in the world" but the ontical understanding of a being that exists.

An existentiell understanding addresses the facts about things in the context of the world, in terms of their existence

Things do not exist; only Dasein does. Existentiell,the ontic understanding of Existentiality is "the state of Being that is constitutive for those entities that exist.(33)

Taking S40, "ontico-existentiell is a characterization of facticity while an ontologico-existential is an interpretation of it. An existentiell determination is ontic or rather matter of fact (facticall) as encountered; whereas an ontologico-existential one is an interpretation of this mater of fact determination. An existentiell fact is derived form Dasein's "average everydayness" and an ontologico-existential interpretation for example of the ontic preontological understanding and relation to being by Dasein .Thus existentiell characterization is opposed to an existential one in the sense that they are ontic-ontological in relation to Dasein Διοτιμα (talk) 21:25, 11 August 2017 (UTC) Reply
