Weird chronological order in section

From the "Earlier declassifications" section: 

A law signed during the presidency of George H. W. Bush ordered the declassification of all records relating to the assassination of President Kennedy in October 2017. When this time arrived, several documents were declassified; however, others remained classified. In 2021 President Joe Biden signed a presidential memorandum which created deadlines for more declassifications of documents about the assassination, which led to over 13,000 documents being released.
Trump said in his first presidency that he was going to declassify the remaining classified records; but due to appeals by the CIA and FBI, left them classified. Declassifying the records was something that he had promised during his 2024 presidential campaign.

wouldn't it be better to have this in chronological order? we're going from bush to biden to trump's first presidency then back to trump's second campaign. - avxktty (talk) 14:24, 24 January 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

I think the flow works better in this order, but I would reword the second paragraph something like like:
While Trump stated in his first term that he was going to declassify the remaining records, appeals made by the CIA and FBI stopped him from doing so. Subsequently, Trump would make a promise to follow through with the declassification during his 2024 presidential campaign.
In my opinion, there needs to be a cohesion to the first and second sentence for it to be out of chronological order. Sir Ross ★▀▀ (talk) 14:50, 24 January 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
