When the First Presbyterian Church of Saranac Lake was being built, Shepard covered the church’s 900ドル debt and paid for a manse, stable, and church bell. Elliott Fitch Shepard & the most of the Vanderbilt Family are in a private cemetery Next to Moravian Cemetery, they are not in Moravian. Its called The Vanderbilt Family Cemetery. it contains the Vanderbilt Mausoleum, The Sloane Mausoleum, and the Burial Grounds.
