Hm. If the character is really called The Dodo then perhaps this article can be moved to The Dodo. --mav

It's a conumdrum. A typical reference reads "there was a Duck and a Dodo, a Lory and an Eaglet, and several other curious creatures". The creatures are always referred to with an article in front of them, which one wouldn't do with a proper name, but they are capitalized. So both "Dodo" and "The Dodo" have problems. -- Someone else 22:16 Dec 7, 2002 (UTC)
