Bisphenol A / plasticizers discussion
[edit ]I feel like this should mention the safety concerns raised around BPA; this has been the subject of substantial research as discussed Polymer-Based Direct Filling Materials.: "degradation products can be toxic at the local level, but exposure to them is considered to be brief as they are quickly cleared by the saliva ... studies concluded that the cumulative exposure level to sealants and/or flowable composites was not associated with behavioral ... alteration".
