Skyring, I know what a BLP is. Linking to a page which contains links to his works is not a source of information about his life, and perfectly acceptable in this context. Same as listing in External links and Further reading. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 04:57, 25 May 2020 (UTC) [reply ]

So why, exactly, are you doing it? Is it notable? This looks a lot like puffery to me. A very ordinary career, and at every point the article is reaching for something to say about the subject. A "notable writer" says one directory, of which Wikipedia notes, "I don't know why they would put you in there if they weren't hoping to get you to buy the book. You truly have to look at how they are marketing and what the spin is. It's something you might want to watch out for".[1]
This chap seems to have done one notable thing in his life, and that is to edit one book 26 years ago. The book is notable, the editor is not. I'm seeing this whole article as something that can be fruitfully replaced by a paragraph in the book's entry. --Pete (talk) 16:14, 25 May 2020 (UTC) [reply ]
