Function

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this muscle's function is to lower and raise the testicle itself, the scrotum just follows with the mass of the testicle(s). The dartos muscle is what contracts and relaxes the scrotum. Propose changing this to something like: "the function of this muscle is to lower and raise the testicle..." Skeletal muscle?

I'm wondering if this should be included on List of skeletal muscles of the human body. The article says "striated muscle" which does include skeletal muscle, and some sources on the web like [1] say it's a skeletal muscle. Mathnerd314159 (talk) 03:22, 6 July 2023 (UTC) [reply ]
