I propose that Movement for Socialism (Britain) be merged into Cliff Slaughter. The person appears to be notable (published writer and academic), but I doubt if the group is - the only reliable independent source seems to be this, which mentions it in passing, in connection with Slaughter. I agree. Their social profile is more or less non-existent. I cannot find anything on them today but I do know Slaughter was their leading influence. If they do have a profile, it appears to be rather secretive. We could leave a forwarding address 'See Cliff Slaughter'. It would only be a few sentences in a section anyway. I think it is correct to assert that Slaughter was one of the leading Marxist theorists in the WRP. That is clear from his books, articles, etc. And I think that comes across in Bob Pitt's work. In fact, it is well known amongst Marxists generally. However, I do not know definitively if he was always on the Central Committee during the time of his membership of the SLL and WRP. He may have been or may have been 'on and off'. Some were during the time Healy ran the SLL/WRP. I cannot find a reference to confirm a continuous position on the CC either in Bob Pitt's account or elsewhere. If anybody else can locate a reliable source, please add it at the end of the sentence. After reading 'Merge' section above, I have added this section based on the Movement for Socialism (Britain) article. I would like some editorial feedback on this to see if that is OK and more or less agreed. I will endeavour to find reliable sources for this new section.
