[edit ]O'Dwyer DNA testing shows a prominence of DF27. Much different from that of the royal Laigin tribes which stem from Z110 i.e. Z255 and Z253. These are likely mercenaries for the Laigin, in the employ of Cu Corb, who did very well for themselves into the Middle Ages.
