A fact from Cal Young appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 26 November 2012 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Content: He operated a farm, which included a flock of sheep, on the property.[5][6][8] He also produced hay, grain and beef.[4]
The wording is strange in that a farm plus sheep won't normally produce beef. Perhaps this is a deficiency in the available references, which I've not researched. Someone with more knowledge of the subject might clarify that there were also cattle, or that he owned cattle on some range land. Also, since he's raising sheep there may be some production of wool or meat from the sheep.
