Post-1997 career
[edit ]Note that in spite of having "retired" when he joined Worcs, Athey did in fact play quite a bit of cricket after that. As well as the solitary List A appearance for Worcs in 1999, he also played a number of List A games for Suffolk in the C&G Trophy in 2001 and 2002, and at minor level toured Bangladesh with MCC in 1999-2000. Athey also played quite a few Second XI games for Worcs in 1998 and 1999. Loganberry (Talk) 19:48, 3 August 2008 (UTC) [reply ]
