Enfields
[edit ]This page includes the following comment: " These Confederates carried Enfield rifles, which had firing ranges superior to the carbines carried by the Federal cavalry". The Enfield rifles link indicates that the rifle was introduced in 1895, meaning that it was not possible that it was used by the Confederates, so this comment is clearly in error.
