[edit ]

I changed it to "British victory" from the change to "Decisive British Victory". Although I.E.F. "D" held the field, they allowed the Turkish 6th Army to get away. The Turkish forces, although suffering heavy casualties, were not routed and retreated in some order northwards. Failure to destroy the 6th Army made the victory incomplete. An incomplete victory hardly seems "decisive". --HistorianBell 19:12, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
