Would it be possible to explain the meaning of this name which is well understood and would be 'Gwynglawdd' in modern Welsh - white hedge or white ditc which clearly refers to the fort and the settlement has got its name from this fort. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.212.246.168 (talk) 01:02, 30 May 2015 (UTC) [reply ]
