- The page on prokaryotes talks a bit about that. It says they range from 10-4m to 10-7m. I doubt any of these would be visible by the naked eye - 10-4 may be a dot - I don't know. Read the page on prokaryotes for more info though. --PhiJ (talk) 19:56, 26 November 2007 (UTC) Reply

Prokaryotic transcription → Bacterial transcription – Essentially, there is no such thing as "Prokaryotic transcription". Archaean transcription has little in common with bacterial transcription, and in many aspects archaean transcription is closer to eukaryotic transcription than to bacterial one. The article describes bacterial transcription, and should be renamed accordingly, with appropriate changes in text.
