Bitcoin mining mini-scandal

This might be a worthwhile addition, especially since this was done early in the history of bitcoin & what was mined on the ABC servers is probably worth quite a bit by now. Any thoughts? Cheers! Bluevista99 (talk) 05:43, 2 January 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

Are you able to maybe provide some more information on this, and any reason why this is coming up now vs when it first happened (just out of curiosity)? I've done a very quick Google and the only thing I can see (IT News) was many years ago and the ABC said the rogue code was discovered after "internal ABC checks within 30 minutes and was removed immediately". Is this the same incident, and if so, do you know of any other WP:RS that have covered it? Tim (Talk) 05:49, 3 January 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
