- I could perhaps have missed it but I see no mention of it anywhere on this page. Does X4 use a different micro architecture I thought it used Kaveri, that is one of the Athlon architectures is it not? Also this page is all over the place. This claim based on a single phrase fro cpu-collection.de which refers AMD own docs and nothing else. I think it should be deleted. Being there, I easily recall that P4 was better at multi-media and overall number-crunching, while Athlon was faster in games. Of course, the whole picture is much more complex (e.g. Coppermine was first to switch to internal L2 cache).
