Shouldn't the article be named "arkOS" instead? — Dsimic (talk | contribs) 00:49, 4 February 2014 (UTC) Reply
- Yes, it should. I'm just not sure how to change the name. --WikiTryHardDieHard (talk) 01:41, 4 February 2014 (UTC) Reply
- Done. :) Just as a note, Wikipedia:Moving a page provides more details. — Dsimic (talk | contribs) 01:56, 4 February 2014 (UTC) Reply

arkOS appears to be an active project on GitHub? See https://github.com/christianhaitian/arkos/graphs/commit-activity -- it is also being used on a variety of generic handheld game consoles built in China now. DrewHeath (talk) 14:31, 2 February 2024 (UTC) Reply
- I'm pretty sure that's not the same project. The ArkOS you are refering to is based on Ubuntu and started as a fork of The Retro Arena (TheRA). The name ArkOS in that case refers to "Another rk3326 rockchip Operating System." which is a chinese ARM chip used in many of those cheap china handhelds. (See rockchip for the manufacturer) That ArkOS project started probably at 2019/2020, a few years after the one in this article (which was based on Arch Linux) was discontinued. -- Mielas (talk) 21:38, 25 March 2025 (UTC) Reply
