So... what was the *first* app store?

The Precursors section says, "The Electronic AppWrapper was the first commercial electronic software distribution catalog to collectively manage encryption and provide digital rights for apps and digital media."

Were there prior app stores that *weren't* commercial or *didn't* collectively manage encryption and provide digital rights?

If The Electronic AppWrapper was indeed the first ever app store, then please consider stating that in the article. Something like, "The Electronic AppWrapper was the first electronic software distribution catalog. It was a commercial endeavor, and collectively managed encryption and provided digital rights for apps and digital media."
