Woodrow Wilson quote removal?

[edit ]

I am not sure if Wilson's quote is necessarily "anti-intellectual" in the sense that this article describes. It could be argued that Wilson's quote was a critique of technocracy, and less so of ostracization towards intellectualism. Wilson himself was the president of Princeton University and earned a Ph.D. I think this quote only serves as an indication that he was critical of the aforementioned system of government, because it would undermine democracy in the US if power was held in the hands of a small collective with esoteric knowledge of the situation presented to them. Splitting proposal: splitting the regional sections into new articles

[edit ]

I think the various regional sections should be split into new pages, and the main article should be revised to use summary style. For example, a new page would be created as Anti-intellectualism in the United States following a similar style to existing related splits such as Political culture and Political culture of the United States. These new articles would refocus the article content on providing an overview of anti-intellectualism rather than illustrating how anti-intellectualism manifests in various regions of the world.
