This older Featured Article has not been reviewed since its promotion in 2007 and may not fulfill all current FA requirements.

• The article is missing citations in several places, I have flagged some. There's a gigantic table of awards nominations without a single citation.
• The article has accumulated cruft over the years, and names several non-notable individuals and awards. The "Writing" and "Humor" sections are full of fan-driven trivia.
• The article needs better sourcing; it uses several non-notable blogs as sources and it frequently references the episodes themselves, their credits or the box set commentary.

Yes, I think there should be a systematic review of the oldest articles on WP:FANMP, with the articles either run on the front page or sent to FAR. There's a lot of older articles that are quite stable and retain their high quality, but then there's ones like this one that need a lot of work. This one should probably be sent to FAR. So it's gone to review, and lost it's status. Good news: there's been heavy re-writes, and source replacement. I have personally removed all of the DVD and press release sources and this makes a better starting place for the article. Oppose The characters are notable as a standalone article. The main character(s) can usually get a spinoff article if there is enough coverage separate of the TV series and/or the main TV article is too long; I think the latter applies here. If the characters are notable then prove it. Notability is not derived, and has to be proven separately. There needs to be actual articles specifically about the characters, rather than articles about the series. NYT or AP would have to cover Dot Warner specifically for instance. They'd have to have some kind of legacy outside of the show. Instead, all the coverage is on the show, now the characters. "The threshold for fictional characters should be high" Why? We seem to have articles on every bozo who ever served in the United States Congress, on athletes who experience 15 minutes of fame or even less, and on several crooked businesspeople who inherited ownership or leadership positions in companies from their relatives, and then run them to the ground. There are literally zero sources for those characters to denote notability. Like none, and I've spent a few weeks going through news coverage on this series. By that, I mean there is a lot of coverage of the original series, and the 2020 series, but no actual articles on the characters themselves. Ap, NBC, BBC, etc would have to have specific coverage of the characters to make them notable enough to have pages outside of the specific series. For example, the voice actor Rob Paulsen has received news coverage outside of the context of his shows, such as his health issues. That gives him notability outside of the shows and makes more of a case that he should have an article on his own rather than just be mentioned in articles relating to the shows he's in.
