[edit ]Professor Devitt's notability is established through her holding of several name chairs at her university, the impact of her research documented by the substantial citation and the extensive discussion on multiple pages in Bawarshi and Reiff's reference volume on Genre, and the impact of her work on teaching in multiple institutions, as again documented in Bawarshi and Reiff and in Vandenberg source cited in discussing "Generalizing abut Genre."
