- ... that Alexa Collins (pictured) dropped out of university after three years in order to pursue her social media career?

- Comment moved to mainspace on the 6th at 20:18 UTC, so this should be within the 7day guidance. Due to the Christmas holidays, I may not be able to respond within 24 hours. JuniperChill (talk) 20:32, 13 December 2025 (UTC) Reply
- comment I did a light copy edit @JuniperChill:, but noticed quite a few places where clarifications are needed, and I don't necessarily think the fact she doesn't wash her hair often is really encyclopaedic Lajmmoore (talk) 09:10, 14 December 2025 (UTC) Reply
- I may not be able to fully address the concerns today. I have decided to add a citation to the end of the sentence for the hook per WP:DYKHFC (which may have been the reason why you tagged it). I have removed info about "not showering every day" (because some sources advise against doing that), but I do think the info regarding the fact she eats healthy should remain because I think that's what kept her body fit and healthy. This was my 2nd bio article btw. JuniperChill (talk) 17:28, 14 December 2025 (UTC) Reply
- I did some more copy editing @JuniperChill:, but I'm still not convinced that doing meal planning, or having a cancelled honeymoon destination listed is encyclopaedic? Lajmmoore (talk) 21:13, 18 December 2025 (UTC) Reply
- Actually, that cancelled honeymoon you mentioned was actually where her wedding was originally going to be. And not every sentence needs a citation. Also keep in mind that my editing activity has significantly dropped since Saturday due to the xmas holiday season. I should be back to normal editing from 5 Jan. - Thanks for the response - we can pause this and come back to it in January. Even as a wedding venue, I still don't think its encyclopaedic content. Nor is the fact she bought a house. You mentioned earlier you're relatively knew to writing biographies, when I started writing them I also included material like this, but it was an important lesson for me that not everything needs to be included. - Coming back after a couple of weeks, I'm very busy IRL as I not only had to deal with the holiday season, but I also now have (real life) work to do. In the meantime, I removed content you suggested wasn't encyclopedic and its currently just under 1500 words. JuniperChill (talk) 19:03, 3 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
- Hi JuniperChill thanks for making those changes - i use the DYK check the article according to that is a few characters short. I found this article which I think is about Collins? (could you check?) and i think the NYP can be used as a source here under WP:NYPOST since its about entertainment and is non-controversial (if its the same person). Adding a line on that should take you over? Lajmmoore (talk) 10:32, 10 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
- I have expanded the article slightly, and is now at 1635 characters. I have also added an image to the nom (the image was not uploaded by me but by GRuban ) which didnt exist at the time i nominated this. JuniperChill (talk) 23:57, 14 January 2026 (UTC) Reply

Overall: Article is new enough, long enough (just), sourced appropriately and neutral. Earwig just picks up quotations, so all is fine there. Picture is free, used in article and clear. QPQ is done. Hook is cited, but I think (now that there have been lots of improvements) there might be more interesting options? Maybe about BeachSweat or body confidence? I think it's really almost there, and the article is in much better shape now, thanks to your work. Lajmmoore (talk) 09:46, 19 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
- Comment: @JuniperChill: Hi. Please see the current tag of referencing issue on the page. Diving deep, the SCMP and News.com.au quote the subject from WP:THESUN, which is eventually regarded as a fake reference. Hope you do not mind, thank you! M. Billoo 04:35, 25 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
- Thanks M.Billoo2000 I didn't spot that. Without those two sources, I'm not convinced Collins meets notability requirements (obviously lots of energy has been put into this article, so its sad) Lajmmoore (talk) 08:59, 25 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
- To be fair, the article has been reviewed under NPP. So it at least shows that an NPP reviewer thought it was notable. I have also compiled a list of sources at my sandbox JuniperChill (talk) 00:00, 26 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
- I've taken a look at that list of sources, and i think the only one that could be credibly used to support her notability is the Maxim one. The rest are interviews, quote from non-reliable sources, say very little "influence posted on instagram", or are just not reliable. I'm personally cross at myself for not picking up the issues earlier in the review. Personally I think the next step is to send it to Articles for Deletion, where it will either be improved and kept, or not. Lajmmoore (talk) 08:04, 26 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
- or alternatively, turn it into a stub, using the Maxim source, and withdraw the DYK nomination? Lajmmoore (talk) 08:09, 26 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
I've gone ahead and withdrawn/closed this nom as i'm too busy with other things. JuniperChill (talk) 02:58, 30 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
