I was going to suggest that surely the normal abbreviation for 'second' is nd?
So, why isn't this article entitled 392nd ... ? But it seems that some places (U.S.?) use d instead of nd?

Not much for editing actual pages, but the 392nd no longer exists. It merged with the 532nd Training Squadron on 2 July 2012. [1]
The last two posts presume that the Space Force's 392d Combat Training Squadron is this unit reactivated. However, no cite is provided, we can't tell. I think it is likely, but we need a RS that shows there is a connection between the two units. --Lineagegeek (talk) 23:57, 30 November 2021 (UTC) Reply
