Background

[edit ]

The background information is very good but I think I might crop it as it is a copy of Mayor of West Yorkshire (WP:COPYWITHIN). It could be filtered to 3 paragraphs. Jonjonjohny (talk) 07:43, 17 April 2020 (UTC) [reply ]

Due to the lack of response I have cropped it down. Jonjonjohny (talk) 15:35, 30 April 2020 (UTC) [reply ]

Addidng Liberal Democrats candidates

[edit ]

The has been a couple of editors who have added Liberal Democrat candidates without any source- such as Javed Bashir and Stuart Golton. I remove these each time because each candidate requires an independent third-party source, such as a news article (See Wikipedia:Independent sources). Candidates should not be added without a source or sourcing a first-party source like the Liberal Democrats websites. It's important to remember that Wikipedia is not a place for candidates to promote themselves but a place to collate factual well evidenced information in a neutral point of view. Please add a source with any aditions. Jonjonjohny (talk) 09:40, 31 August 2020 (UTC) [reply ]

Picture

[edit ]

Why is the picture of only one of the candidates? 81.108.168.67 (talk) 19:39, 11 March 2021 (UTC) [reply ]

Hello, I'm not sure if I completely understand the question. If you mean why is there only one picture per candidate rather than them all together is because we want to have a clear, free-to-use image to show each candidate. If you are wondering why some candidates don't have images it is because we haven't been able to find an image that fits the previous two criteria. If you're interested here is the main information page on the subject and here is the policy of images from Flickr Jonjonjohny (talk) 10:46, 12 March 2021 (UTC) [reply ]
