Images are appropriately tagged.

  • What makes the following reliable sources?
  • FN51 is tagged as a permanent dead link. For GA that's OK but you may want to replace it anyway.
  • (削除) "An audience of 3.93 million viewers watched the final session in Great Britain with 2.03 million watching the third session of the final": confusingly different uses of "final"; I had to read this a couple of times. I think this means 3.93 million viewers watched the final session of the final. (削除ここまで)
  • (削除) "The event was organised by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association." I was going to suggest "The 2011 event was..." but presumably the WPBSA has organized it for years? So perhaps add that to the previous sentence? (削除ここまで)
  • (削除) "This was the first time six century breaks had been made in a match at the event, and for a best of 25 frames match": what does the second part of this mean? Does it mean it's the first time six century breaks had been made in a 25 frames match at any event? If so I'd clarify. (削除ここまで)
  • (削除) Suggest adding a word or to to explain what the News of the World allegations were about -- e.g. "allegations of match-fixing the previous year". (削除ここまで)
  • (削除) The qualifying rounds surprised me -- looks like new players joined at each qualifying round, presumably based on their ranking? Could we add a brief explanation of how these rounds worked? (削除ここまで)

Earwig is clean; the match it shows is to a mirror. Spotchecks:

  • FN 26 cites "The first round was played from 16 to 21 April as the best of 19 frames held over two sessions": technically this is a problem because this shows the planned format, not what actually happened. I'm not going to treat this as a failed verification on that basis but a cite after the event would be better. However, I don't see where it states that the first round was specifically those dates -- am I missing something?
  • FN 67 cites "Higgins took a 13–12 lead after the third session of the final, which he won 6–2": verified.
  • FN 11 cites "In 1927, the first world championship was won by Joe Davis. The event's final took place in Camkin's Hall, Birmingham, England": verified.
