According to and , Thomas Killam never left the Anti-Confederation Party; he died and his son Frank Killam was elected to the same seat as a Liberal. --Big_Iron 09:39, 16 September 2006 (UTC) Reply

Can someone please indicate which colour means what on the key? The dark red and dark blue are unidentified, a number of parties which don't exist for another 100 years are listed in the key, and there are parties listed with no colour. Anyone with this info, please help. --SigPig |SEND - OVER 04:56, 30 May 2007 (UTC) Reply

List of legislation

By analogy with 1st United States Congress, could this (and subsequent) wiki pages have added a list of legislation from that particular Canadian parliament? Lavn2 (talk) 12:26, 12 July 2022 (UTC) Reply

Merge proposal

The result of this discussion was consensus to merge the two pages. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 14:44, 17 January 2026 (UTC) Reply

I propose merging List of senators in the 1st Parliament of Canada into 1st Canadian Parliament. As it stands, the article on the 1st Parliament is incomplete, because it only lists the MPs, not the Senators. The List of Senators fits naturally in the 1st Parliament page. There will not be an article-size issue, because 1st Parliament is currently 1,035 words and the List of Senators is 314. The total will be well below the guidelines for article length requiring splitting: WP:SIZE. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 18:00, 11 January 2026 (UTC) Reply

ETA: Just noticed that the members of the Commons are arranged by province, while the members of the Senate are listed alphabetically. If the merge goes through, I would propose organising the Senators by province as well. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 18:20, 11 January 2026 (UTC) Reply

Hello all. I have noticed a bunch of removals of sources there. While understandable, I do suggest using Archive.org to rescue the content before it gets removed. {{@Mr Serjeant Buzfuz. Would you be willing to go that route and use it before removing them? Crafterstar (talk) 23:43, 28 January 2026 (UTC) Reply
