Main article: Soling
The Soling World Championship is an International sailing regatta in the Soling organized by the host club on behalf of the International Soling Association and recognised by World Sailing.[1] The first Soling World Championship were held in Copenhagen in 1969,[1] the year after the selection as Olympic Three-Men Keelboat for the 1972 Summer Olympics. The Soling was an Olympic class from 1972 to 2000.
