Shulamis (Hebrew: שולמית) or Shulamit is the feminine form of the Hebrew name Solomon (in Hebrew, "Shlomo", Hebrew: שְלמה), related to the word "shalom" (Hebrew: שָׁלוֹם), or "peace". "Shula" is a shortened form. The name Salome is also a related form.
