Plasma Bigscreen was a software project from KDE which contained an interface optimized for Smart TVs and other computers such as the Raspberry Pi which can be connected to large displays.[1] [2] [3]
Software
[edit ]The desktop environment was based on KDE Plasma 5. Voice control was provided through integration with Mycroft AI. Plasma Bigscreen supported HDMI-CEC.[4]
Availability
[edit ]Plasma Bigscreen was available as a KDE Neon-based image, or was installable on postmarketOS.[5] It is currently not available due to being unmaintained for too long.[6]
