Maromokotro or Maromokotra[3] is a volcano on Madagascar at 2,876 meters (9,436 ft) high. It is located in the Tsaratanana Massif inside the Tsaratanana Reserve in Diana Region in the northern part of the island. The next larger towns are Bealanana and Ambanja that are situated still at more than 2 days of travel from this mountain.
