Lalpur is a town and nagar panchayat of the Udham Singh Nagar district in the state of Uttarakhand, India.

Dineshpur is located at 28°59′N 79°24′E / 28.98°N 79.40°E / 28.98; 79.40 .[1]

Demographics

According to the 2011 census,[2] Lalpur had a population of 3,975. Males constituted 52.2% of the population and females 48.8%. Lalpur had an average literacy rate of 74.31%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy was 82.29% and, female literacy was 65.57%. In Lalpur, 16.57% of the population was under 6 years of age.
