Lewis G. Galloway was an American politician. He was the 7th Secretary of State of Mississippi, serving from 1841 to 1843.
Biography
[edit ]Lewis G. Galloway was from Holmes County, Mississippi.[1] He was a member of the Whig Party.[1] [2] He became the Secretary of State of Mississippi in November 1841.[3] [4] [5] His tenure as Secretary of State of Mississippi ended in November 1843.[3] [4] [5] [6] He was succeeded by Wilson Hemingway.[3] [4]
