Jiancheng Shi from the Institute for Remote Sensing Applications Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2014[1] for contributions to active and passive microwave remote sensing .
