Gaojiayuan station[1] (simplified Chinese: 高家园站; traditional Chinese: 高家園站; pinyin: Gāojiāyuán zhàn) is a station on Line 12 [2] and Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. The Line 12 station opened on December 15, 2024.[3] Due to the slow and uncertain progress of demolition and relocation of the occupied area of the equipment buildings, the opening date for the Line 14 station has not yet been determined.[4] [5]
Location
[edit ]The station is located at the intersection of Jiuxianqiao Road and Wanhong Road in Jiuxianqiao Subdistrict of Chaoyang District. The platform for Line 12 is located at the east side of the crossing of Jiuxianqiao Road and Wanhong Road, and the platform for Line 14 will be located on Wanhong Street West.
Exits
[edit ]There are 3 exits for Line 12, lettered A, B, and C. Exits A and C have accessible elevators.[6] Line 14 is currently in the stage of a reserved station (except for the transfer passageway built by Line 12, everything else is still in a state of suspension).[5] The station of Line 14 plans to set up two exits on the northeast side of Wanhong Street West.

The surrounding environment of Gaojiayuan Station on Line 14 is complex and the hydrogeological conditions are poor. The concourse and the transfer passageway are close to the residential buildings in Dashanzi Nanli Community. Affected by the disturbance and demolition problems, the on-site construction has been progressing slowly. The rail company coordinated with various departments and units at all levels in the city to organize construction units and design units to adjust the plan many times to solve the on-site construction problems. It also tried various attempts such as demolition integration and evacuation compensation to solve the disturbance problem of residential buildings in Dashanzi Nanli Community.
