Kwame Asare-Obeng, commonly known as A Plus (born March 6, 1977), is a Ghanaian hiplife musician and politician. He is the member of parliament-elect for the Gomoa Central constituency [1] [2] [3] in the 2024 Ghanaian general election. Running as an independent candidate, he defeated the incumbent MP, Naana Eyiah Quansah.[4]
Career
[edit ]In 2000, following the general elections, he released his debut single, Freedom of Speech. The song gained recognition for its political commentary. Over the years, his music has addressed political and social topics.[5]
