This draft is not written from a neutral point of view. Wikipedia articles must be written neutrally in a formal, impersonal, and dispassionate way. They should not read like a blog post, advertisement, or fan page. Rewrite the draft to remove: Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

Optro (formerly AuditBoard) is a U.S.-based software company that develops tools for audit, risk, and compliance management.[2] Its software is used to manage internal audits, risk workflows, and compliance documentation.[3] The company is headquartered in Cerritos, California.[4] [5]

History

[edit ]

Optro was founded as AuditBoard in 2014 by Daniel Kim and Jay Lee,[6] both former auditors who served as co-CEOs.[3] In 2018, the company received 40ドル million in Series B funding from Battery Ventures and Mucker Capital.[7] Scott Arnold became President and CEO in 2020.[8]

In 2024, the company reached 200ドル million in Annual recurring revenue,[9] and later that year, was acquired by the private equity firm Hg in a deal valued at approximately 3ドル billion.[6] Former Paycor CEO Raul Villar Jr. was named CEO in July 2025 and the company reached 300ドル million in annual recurring revenue in October of the same year.[10] [11]

[edit ]

In 2024, the company received the Stratus Award for Cloud Computing from the Business Intelligence Group[12] and was named Overall Risk Management Solution of the Year at the 2024 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards.[13] In 2025, the company was included in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 for the seventh consecutive year.[14]
